Wall Tape
I've been wanting to spruce up our blank, stark white walls. Temporary wallpaper is an appealing but intimidating option. Wall tape, however, is a project I would happily take on. It's such a creative way to make a space your own - with endless possibilities! And you won't have to worry about not being able to remove it. Now can someone tell me where I can get my hands on these?

Mignon Kitchen Co.

I just found out that the lovely Rachel of Elephantine recently launched Mignon Kitchen Co. - an adorable and wonderfully curated shop filled with goods for prepping, baking, serving, and sharing food. I have my eye on these adorable mini boxes. Aren't they so perfect for a little sweet treat?

Urban Walls

Vinyl wall decals are a renters dream - they go up fast and can be removed without damaging the walls. When Danielle and Paul of Urban Walls sent over their designs, I immediately fell in love with their house rules decal. I've been looking for some to spruce up our blank white walls and it fits the bill perfectly. Don't forget to stop by the shop and take a peek at their designs.

Chalkboard Striped Walls
A while back, I stumbled across Danielle Oakey Interiors via Made By Girl and have been obsessing about the black and white striped walls in Danielle's daughter's room. Isn't it stunning?

Painted Furniture
We were originally going to replace most of our furniture once we settled into our new apartment in LA but scouring the web for fun, colorful pieces only led to hopelessness - the price tags are depressing! I'm simply not willing to starve myself for weeks just to be able to afford a coffee table... We probably can't move all of our furniture but there are a few pieces we currently own that can use a face lift. I have absolutely no experience painting furniture/walls, etc. so keep your fingers crossed for me!

Wall Envy
Now, I'm not going to lie - I know it's ridiculous to plan how we're going to decorate our new apartment when we haven't even found a place yet... but I can't help myself. My mind is racing.
We won't be moving too many items from our current apartment - and since the only pieces of furniture that we've acquired are a set of Crate and Barrel Lounge couches, we have a clean slate to work with.
I would love to brighten the space up with colorful walls and fun pops of color.

Or should we attempt wallpaper?

I can't seem to settle on a particular style - bold but neutral? Or bright and fun? (Though I'm leaning towards a bit of both.. haha.) Oh, the decisions! We also want to take the opportunity to add a personal touch to our new space. Our current apartment is more a mish mosh of furniture that we've either acquired out of necessity or inherited along the way. It would be nice for our home to reflect our style and personality.

Framed Walls
I'm dying to try out a collage of frames in our new apartment, wherever that is. It's such a beautiful way to display all of the special moments and items in our life together.
