ballet flats

When we were choosing our outfits for our engagement pictures in Taiwan, the last dress I picked out this beautiful ball-gown-esque, slightly short silver dress. I was in love with it. But the only pair of shoes I packed wouldn’t match! I went on a shoe hunt and settled on a sparkly silver pair of ballet flats. They were cute but uncertainty set in. I was unsure if they would match the dress, if they would be comfortable enough to re-wear but for 370NT or $11.57, I gave in and tried to reassure myself that if it didn’t match the outfit exactly, at least it was in the same color scheme and maybe it wouldn’t make much of a difference.

They held up to hours of standing (and posing) and were much more comfortable than some of the name brand, $60+ flats I’ve purchased. After seeing our pictures, I was even more pleased. They were absolutely perfect.

So perfect, I will definitely be re-wearing them. On our wedding day.
