With all the horrible winter weather that has hit NYC, the deliciously warm weather made me as giddy as a five year old with a big bowl of ice cream. Yes, I was really happy . It hit over 60! I wanted to prance outside, twirl around and find a spot in the park to read a book. By the way, can anyone recommend a good read? I'm in search for a new book.
These dresses by Madewell are perfect for pre-spring twirling and prancing! :) Which is what I'll be spending my weekend doing. Happy Friday!

I adore these new looks from Madewell. And the next book on my list is The Particular Sadness of Lemon Cake. I'm like a million out of a billion on the library queue though so I'm not sure when I'll get my hands on it. And Happy Friday, my gorgeous friend! I miss you -- can we find another conference to go to together?
ReplyDeleteWhen I went to NYC last month, that was the first time I actually went into a Madewell store! It was crazy packed, and I wanted to buy up everything in it! Anyway, glad to see the weather is clearing up ever so slightly :) As for a good book - I'm reading the Harry Potter series (hahaha) because I haven't read it before. So...I'm all out of recs at the moment. Have a happy weekend, Janie! :)
ReplyDeleteCurrent likes/recent reads: The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks and The Goon Squad! =)
ReplyDeleteNext on the to read list: Room by Emma Donoghue and Are You There, Vodka? It's Me Chelsea (the bf read and recommended this one. haha)
Loving Madewell as well. Wish I made more money =P
my book club just read, "water for elephants," which is fun - a little risque, and the movie comes out in April...which is always fun.
ReplyDeletep.s. i'm so jealous, it's no where near 60 degrees here, in fact, we had 4 new inches of snow today --- boo.
have you read "the help"? i haven't read it yet but it's on my list! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm so in love with that first image - that's what I want my summer to be like! :) Have you read The Passage? It was AMAZING.
ReplyDeletei love madewell. or should i say, i love browsing through their website. i just wish their sizes are more in line with jcrew...or they come out with a petite line. i'm so small and the sizes are so big! lol.
ReplyDeletebut i'm also wishing for summer weather in rainy Seattle as well. we wont get summer weather until june-ish. we're deep into our rainy season right now.
