I'm Thankful For Today

(photo taken outside of a James Perse store on Bleeker in the West Village
I love the message. We should all take a moment out of the day to be thankful for the present.)

I am thankful for:

1+ My Husband. Ryan is my best friend, soul mate and my biggest cheerleader. He has a huge heart and makes me feel loved, safe and special. I vow to always give you my pizza crusts, hun! Plus he does the dishes ;)! I am the luckiest girl in the world. (Thank you Match.com!)

2+
My Parents. I am an only child to two amazing parents who have devoted their entire life to making me who I've become today. They've given me the tools to live and succeed in our world and for that I am forever grateful. As parents, they've taught me the true meaning of unconditional love. (I love you mom + dad!)

3+
My Friends. I'm ashamed to say I don't make enough time to spend with the amazing people I'm lucky enough to call my friends (all of the business owners out there, I know you're thinking the same thing) but you all know who you are and how much you all mean to me.

4+
Barley & Zoey. Our two fur babies may drive us a bit nuts with their antics, but goodness, they just radiate love and are so cute - they have the undeniable ability to brighten any gloomy day.

5+
Fulfilling my dream of owning my own business. We Heart Paper has been a blessing. It is a fantastic creative outlet and through it, it has given me the opportunity to meet truly amazing, genuinely kind and talented people, just like you!

and lastly,

6+
I am thankful for today.

What are you thankful for?

Warm wishes to you and your loved ones over the holiday and happy shopping for those who have Black Friday plans. I'll be attempting a traditional turkey Thanksgiving dinner with Ryan and my parents. Wish us luck! (And by us, I mean Ryan + my parents... they're the ones who'll have to try my food after all!)

xo,
Janie
